I had a bad experience with BBQ utensils made with plastic and wood handles: they crack, melt, break off. I switched to utensils made entirely of metal: my boys are very tough on utensils when cooking in the backyard. The size of this spatula is huge, you will use it to flip fish, large stakes or even 2 burgers at a time, the handle is also long enough to keep your hands away from the mess and fire.
