(More customer reviews)I bought the signet 70 after many hours of online research.I was looking for cooking quality and longevity more than looks and features.My old grill produced extremely uneven heat and flareups.I have cooked on the signet 70 approximately 10 times over the last month.I noticed immediately that the difference in heat distribution was dramatic compared to anything I had ever cooked on.My first experience with the grill I let the grill preheat, then put on 12 hamburger patties and reduced to medium heat.I turned them once after 10 minutes.I had 12 perfectly, evenly cooked hamburger patties after another 10 minutes.

The grill was simple to put together.Took me about an hour with minimal help from my 10 year old son.I was not surprised by the molded plastic shelves and base (research had me expecting it).For now, it seems sturdy and secure, but only time will tell how the plastic parts hold up...I am willing to except that risk for an overall excellent grill.For the money you will get a high end cooking machine (comparable with grills that cost $200-$400 more)with some plastic components to keep the cost down.Nothing unreasonable about that...just know what you are doing going into the deal.
